Let \((G/H, g)\) be a Riemannian homogeneous space. A geodesic \(\gamma (t)\) through the origin \(o = eH\) is called a homogeneous geodesic if it is an orbit of a one-parameter subgroup of \(G\), i.e., \(\gamma (t) = (\exp tX)\cdot o\), \(X\) is a non-zero vector in the Lie algebra of \(G\). If all geodesics on \(G/H\) are homogeneous geodesics the homogeneous space is called a g.o. space. Since their introduction by \textit{O. Kowalski} and \textit{L. Vanhecke} [Boll. Unione Mat. Ital., VII. Ser., B 5, No. 1, 189--246 (1991; Zbl 0731.53046)], there is a considerable amount of interesting research works about g.o. spaces in the recenty years. On the other hand, in [Houston J. Math. 37, No. 1, 113--125 (2011; Zbl 1228.53053)] \textit{N. Cohen} et al. introduced the notion of homogeneous equigeodesics, which are homogeneous curves that are geodesics with respect to any \(G\)-invariant metric. Corresponding equigeodesic vectors are separated into structural and algebraic. The components of these vectors are detected as solutions to non linear algebraic systems. In the present paper the author studies algebraic equigeodesic vectors on certain reductive homogeneous spaces such as Stiefel manifolds, generalized Wallach spaces and spheres. More precisely, she considers the generalized Wallach spaces spaces \(\operatorname{SO}(6)/ \operatorname{SO}(3)\cdot \operatorname{SO}(2)\) (as a special case of \(\operatorname{SO}(n)/ \operatorname{SO}(n_1)\cdot \operatorname{SO}(n_2)\cdot \operatorname{SO}(n_3)\), \(W^6=\operatorname{U}(3)/\operatorname{U}(1)\cdot \operatorname{U}(1)\cdot \operatorname{U}(1)\) and \(W^{12}=\operatorname{Sp}(3)/ \operatorname{Sp}(1)\cdot \operatorname{Sp}(1)\cdot \operatorname{Sp}(1)\), the Stiefel manifolds \(V_2\mathbb{R}^n=\operatorname{SO}(n)/\operatorname{SO}(n-2)\) and the spheres \(\operatorname{U}(n + 1)/ \operatorname{U}(n)\), \(\operatorname{Sp}(n + 1)/ \operatorname{Sp}(n)\). For the case of \(W^6\) the results agree with those of [\textit{N. Cohen} et al., Houston J. Math. 37, No. 1, 113--125 (2011; Zbl 1228.53053)]. For some spaces, the author also studies homogeneous equigeodesics with respect to Einstein metrics in the corresponding space.
