There are 3 ways to extend the notion of (lower and upper) semicontinuity of multifunctions: \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] replacing the topology in the domain or range space by other families of sets (maybe defined locally: local systems, continuity roads, sieves in the sense of [\textit{I. Tevy} and \textit{C. Bruteanu}, Rev. Roum. Math. Pures Appl. 18, 121--135 (1973; Zbl 0254.26004)]); \item[(2)] $\tau$-operations between booleans of corresponding hyperspaces ([\textit{M. P. Ershov}, Usp. Mat. Nauk 33, No. 6(204), 205--206 (1978; Zbl 0413.54020); Russ. Math. Surv. 33, No. 6, 227--228 (1978; Zbl 0425.54007)]) or \item[(3)] abstracting some usable properties of (upper and lower) inverse image of multifunction and introducing such a contravariant functor in the category of sets and relations as a substitute. \end{itemize} In this paper a method being a sort of (1) with the influence of (2) is chosen: two operators $\alpha,\beta$ are introduced in the domain $X$, two $\theta,\delta$ in the range $Y$ and conditions of counterimages involving an ideal $I$ on $X$ are imposed. In effect a unification of various (upper and lower) generalized continuity notions (pre-continuity, weak $I$-continuity, almost $I$-continuity, $\omega$-continuity, complete continuity, perfect continuity, near continuity $P$-continuity, etc.) arises. Remark: It would be interesting to investigate the possibility to express this conception in the language of local sieves and \(\tau\)-operations, and to fit various quasicontinuity notions of multifunctions (e.g. [\textit{M. Matejdes}, Eur. J. Math. 7, No. 1, 390--395 (2021; Zbl 1462.54018)]) into the authors's schemata.
