In this paper, a dynamical characterization of filter-central subsets of a discrete semigroup is established. Let \(S\) be a discrete semigroup and \(\mathcal{F}\) be a filter. We say that \(B\subseteq S\) is \(\mathcal{F}\)-central if it is a member of some minimal idempotents of a closed sub-semigroup of \(\beta S\), generated by \(\mathcal{F}\). The following is the main result. Theorem. The subset \(B\) of the discrete semigroup \(S\) is \(\mathcal{F}\)-central iff there exists a dynamical system \((X,(T_s; s\in S))\), two points \(x,y\in X\) and a neighborhood \(U\) of \(y\) such that: (1) \(x\) and \(y\) are \(\mathcal{F}\)-proximal; (2) \(y\) is \(\mathcal{F}\)-uniformy recurrent; (3) \(B=\{s\in S; T_s(x)\in U\}\).
