The paper is inspired by the work of \textit{L. Alsedà} and \textit{M. Misiurewicz} [Publ. Mat., Barc. 2014, 15--36 (2014; Zbl 1326.37016)] on the properties of stationary measures for typical random dynamical systems of interval homeomorphisms. In particular, in that work it was conjectured that for a typical system the stationary measure is singular with respect to Lebesgue measure. Before proceeding to provide a positive answer to the conjecture for random dynamical systems with a limited number of constraints, the present authors give an overview of the type of systems for which the conjecture has already been proved. The authors remove the assumption of continuous differentiability with the exception of the existence of finite derivatives of the homeomorphisms at the endpoints of the interval. Their main result is that a typical random dynamical system in a suitable Baire space has a unique stationary measure which is singular, non-atomic and has full support.
