\(\tau\)-exceptional sequences were introduced by \textit{A. B. Buan} and \textit{B. R. Marsh} [J. Algebra 585, 36--68 (2021; Zbl 1486.16012)] as a generalisation of exceptional sequence for finite dimensional algebras. In the paper under review, the author calculates the number of complete \(\tau\)-exceptional sequences for four classes of Nakayama algebras \(\Gamma^2_n\), \(\Lambda^2_n\), \(\Lambda^n_n\) and \(\Gamma^{n-1}_n\), and obtain recurrence formula for \(\Gamma^{n-1}_n\), closed formula for \(\Lambda^2_n\), and both recurrence and closed formula for \(\Gamma^2_n\) and \(\Lambda^n_n\).
