The author proves existence results for nontrivial solutions of the elliptic PDE system \begin{align*} \Delta v &= \frac{Pv}{1+v^2+w^2} + \lambda v \quad\text{in }\Omega, \\ \Delta w &= \frac{Qw}{1+v^2+w^2} + \lambda w \quad\text{in }\Omega, \end{align*} on some periodic domain \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n\) with periodic boundary conditions. The proofs are variational and, more precisely, based on Linking Theorems. The analysis is very similar to the one presented in [\textit{M. Schechter}, Springer Optim. Appl. 173, 609--624 (2021; Zbl 1471.35126)]. A criterion for the existence of vectorial solutions with \(v\neq 0\neq w\) is missing. Related research about the full space case \(\Omega=\mathbb{R}^n\) can be found in [the reviewer, Adv. Nonlinear Stud. 16, No. 1, 95--113 (2016; Zbl 1334.35319); \textit{A. R. Champneys} and \textit{J. Yang}, Nonlinearity 15, No. 6, 2165--2192 (2002; Zbl 1021.35101); \textit{L. de Almeida Maia} et al., Calc. Var. Partial Differ. Equ. 46, No. 1--2, 325--351 (2013; Zbl 1257.35171)]. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1483.00042].
