Let \(E\) be a separable Banach space, \((T,\mathcal{T},\mu)\) a finite nonatomic measure space, \(S\) a separable metric space and \((p_n)_{n\in\mathbb{N}}\) a partition of unity subordinate to a locally finite cover \((V_n)_{n\in\mathbb{N}}\) of \(S\). For \(n\in\mathbb{N}\), let \(S\ni s\mapsto f_{n,s}\) be a continuous map into the space \(L^1(\mu ,E)\) of Bochner integrable functions. Define \(m_{n,s}\) by \(m_{n,s}(A)=\int_Afd\mu\). Generalizing a theorem of A. Fryszkowski [Fixed Point Theory for Decomposable Sets; Kluver Acad., Dordrecht (2004; Zbl 1086.47004)] it is proved that for any \(\delta >0\) there exists a family \((A_n(s))_{n\in\mathbb{N}}\) of measurable partitions of \(T\) with the following properties: (i) for any \(s\in S\), \(\mu(A_n(s))>0\) for a finite number of indices and \(A_n(s)=\emptyset\) for the remaining \(n\in\mathbb{N}\); (ii) for any \(s\in S\) and \(n\in\mathbb{N}\), if \(\mu(A_n(s))>0\) then \(p_n(s)>0\); (iii) \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty \| m_{n,s}(A_n(s))-p_n(s)m_{n,s}(T)\|<\delta\), \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty | \mu(A_n(s))-p_n(s)\mu(T)|<\delta\) and \(\lim_{s'\rightarrow s}\sum_{n=1}^\infty \mu(A_n(s')\Delta A_n(s)) =0\) for any \(s\in S\). In the introduction and conclusions, possible applications are mentioned.
