The authors consider parabolic equations associated with elliptic pseudodifferential operators on spaces of complex-valued functions on \(\mathbb Q_p^3\) where \(\mathbb Q_p\) is the field of \(p\)-adic numbers. The symbols have the form \(|f(\xi_1,\xi_2,\xi_3)|_p^\alpha\) where \(\alpha >0\), \(f\) is an elliptic (also called anisotropic) quadratic form. Such quadratic forms over \(Q_p^n\) exist only for \(n\leq 4\). Fundamental solutions of the Cauchy problem are constructed and studied in detail, which makes it possible to investigate, via a parametrix method, equations with variable coefficients. Results of this kind for \(n=1\) were obtained by the reviewer [\textit{A. N. Kochubej}, Math. USSR, Izv. 39, No. 3, 1263--1280 (1992; Zbl 0778.35001); translation from Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. Mat. 55, No. 6, 1312--1330 (1991)]; by \textit{O. F. Casas-Sánchez} and \textit{W. A. Zúñiga-Galindo} [\(p\)-Adic Numbers Ultrametric Anal. Appl. 6, No. 1, 1--20 (2014; Zbl 1317.35309)] for \(n=2\) and \(n=4\). For some results on \(p\)-adic parabolic equations in any dimension, see \textit{W. A. Zúñiga-Galindo} [Potential Anal. 28, No. 2, 185--200 (2008; Zbl 1134.35005)].
