Considering the Chang-fuzzy topology [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 24, 182-193 (1968; Zbl 0167.51001)] the author introduces the notion of the so-called FN-closed fuzzy sets and also introduces the notion of fuzzy nearly compact spaces. Some basic facts relating to these concepts are taken into account.
