This paper is a sequel to the paper by the same authors, [\textit{B. Freidin} and \textit{V. Gras Andreu}, Geom. Dedicata 208, 129--155 (2020; Zbl 1453.53065)]. The authors study metrics on simplicial complexes that are conformal either to flat Euclidean metrics or to the ideal hyperbolic metrics described by \textit{C. Charitos} and \textit{A. Papadopoulos}, [Glasg. Math. J. 43, No. 1, 39--66 (2001; Zbl 0977.57003)], where the theory of Teichmüller spaces of simplicial complexes was introduced. In the paper under review, the authors provide a new step towards the production of Teichmüller maps between 2-dimensional simplicial complexes, along the scheme proposed by \textit{M. Gerstenhaber} and \textit{H. E. Rauch}, [Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 40, 808--812, 991--994 (1954; Zbl 0056.07502)]. Extending the results of their previous paper, they prove existence, uniqueness, and regularity results for harmonic maps between metrics on the simplicial complex that are of the types mentioned above.
