The following variant of the bivariable Mittag-Leffler function generalizing the Prabhakar-type Mittag-Leffler function is discussed: \[ E^{(\delta)}_{\alpha,\beta,\gamma}(z_1,z_2) = \sum\limits_{n = 0}^{\infty} \sum\limits_{m = 0}^{\infty} \frac{(\delta)_{m + n} z_1^m z_2^n}{n! m! \Gamma(\alpha m + \gamma n + \delta)}. \] The authors mainly discuss analytic properties of the above function and different kinds of integral transforms are calculated. Let us remark that the part concerning fractional calculus lacks of some details and rigour. For example, the fractional differential operator (3.1) in the paper is an integro-differential operator with respect to a real variable. Later on it is formally applied to a complex variable without any explanation.
