This paper makes some first steps in the project of undertaking game-theoretic analyses of rational information exchange in multi-agent contexts. It considers the case where available actions are public announcements, and each agent has a formula (typically expressible in epistemic logic) that it would like to see true, and decides its announcements in the light of that goal. The main tools of analysis are dynamic epistemic logic and game theory.
