Let \(E\) be a Fréchet space, \(\omega\) a radial weight in the sense of Beurling-Björk, and let \(k\) be a positive function on \({\mathbb R}^n\) such that there exists a positive constant \(N\) with \(k(x+y) \leq e^{N\omega(x)}k(y)\) for all \(x,y\in {\mathbb R}^n\). The authors present several results concerning the vector-valued Hörmander-Beurling spaces \(B^{\text{loc}}_{p,k}(\Omega,E)\). In Section~3, an embedding theorem as well as a sequence space representation are obtained. Theorem 3.1 shows, among other things, that, if the Fréchet space \(E\) is separable and infinite-dimensional and \(E\) is not isomorphic to a countable product of copies of the scalar field, then \(B^{\text{loc}}_{p,k}(\Omega,E)\) is isomorphic to a subspace of \(l_{\infty}^{\mathbb N}\), but this space does not contain any complemented copy of \(B^{\text{loc}}_{p,k}(\Omega,E)\). Section~4 contains some results on sequence space representations. As a consequence, a result of \textit{W.\,Kaballo} [Funct.\ Anal.:\ Surv.\ and recent results, Proc.\ Conf., Paderborn 1976, 149--166 (1977; Zbl 0365.46058)] on short exact sequences and hypoelliptic differential operators is extended to the case that we consider \(\omega\)-hypoelliptic differential operators and also vector-valued ultradistributions. The paper under review includes some open problems, for instance, whether \(B^{\text{loc}}_{p,k}(\Omega,l_{\infty})\) is isomorphic to a complemented copy of \(l_{\infty}^{\mathbb N}\) or if the space \(B^{\text{loc}}_{\infty,k}(\Omega,l_{\infty})\) can be represented as the (completed) injective tensor product of \(B^{\text{loc}}_{\infty,k}(\Omega)\) and \(l_{\infty}\).
