    Let \(\{p_n\}_{n=1}^{\infty}\) be a sequence of natural numbers such that \(2\le p_n\le N\) for all \(n\in\mathbb{N}\). Set \(\mathbb{Z}(p_j) = \{0,1,\ldots,p_j-1\}\), \(m_0=1\) and \(m_n=p_1 \ldots p_n\) for \(n\ge 1\). Then every number \(x\) with \(0\le x<1\) has a unique expansion \[ x = \sum_{j=1}^{\infty} \frac{x_j}{m_j},\qquad x_j\in \mathbb{Z} (p_j).\] If an integer \(k\ge 0\) is written in the form \[k = \sum_{i=1}^{\infty}k_i m_{i-1},\qquad k_i\in\mathbb{Z},\ 0\le k_i<p_i,\] and \(x\in [0,1)\), define the Vilenkin function by \[\chi_k(x) = \exp \left(2\pi i \sum_{j=1}^{\infty} \frac{x_j k_j}{p_j} \right).\] In this paper, the author gives some estimates for approximating functions in weighted Orlicz spaces by bounded Vilenkin functions. The equivalence between the \(K\)-functional constructed with help of generalized derivatives and three types of realizations functionals are established.
