    Given two positive operators \(A,B\) on a complex Hilbert space \(\mathcal H\) we say that \(A\) is \textit{unformly submajorized} by \(B\) and denote it by \(A \triangleleft B\), if there exists a positive integer \(n\) such that \[\sum_{k=na}^b \mu(k,A) \leq \sum_{k=a}^b \mu(k,B),\] for all \(a,b \geq 0\) such that \(na < b\). Here \(\mu\) is the singular value function. An operator monotone function is said to satisfy \textit{Ando's inequality for uniform submajorization} if \[|f(X)-f(Y)| \triangleleft f(|X-Y|).\] It is shown that an \textit{operator monotone function} \(f\) satisfies Ando's inequality if and only if \[f(t)=\alpha + \beta t+\sum_{j=1}^{d-1}\frac{\gamma_j t}{t + \delta_j},\] for some \(\alpha \in \mathbb{R}, \beta, \gamma_j \geq 0, \delta_j >0\) and \(d \geq 1.\)
