In this paper, the following FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) lattice equations are considered: \[ \begin{aligned} &\frac{dx_i}{dt}=a(x_{i-1}-2x_{i}+x_{i+1})+f(x_{i})-by_{i}+pu_{i},\quad 1\leq i\leq n,\\ &\frac{dy_i}{dt}=cx_{i}+\delta y_{i} \quad 1\leq i\leq n, \end{aligned} \] where \(t>0\), the integer \(n\geq 4\), and the discrete Laplacian operator \[ D_{i}x=a(x_{i-1}-2x_{i}+x_{i+1}) \] can be called the synaptic law of cell coupling. Here, three theorems, Theorem 2.1, Theorem 2.2 and Theorem 3.1, are proved respectively. The first theorem, Theorem 2.1, proves existence of a unique solution of the initial value problem for the initial value problem related FitzHugh-Nagumo cellular neural network. The second theorem, Theorem 2.2, proves that in the sense of the existence of a bounded ball the semi flow of the FitzHugh-Nagumo CNN is dissipative. The last theorem, Theorem 3.1, states that with the given threshold condition for the boundary gap signal of the FitzHugh-Nagumo cellular neural network (1)-(3) this cellular neural network is asymptotically synchronized at a uniform exponential rate. In this paper, a sufficient condition for realization of the feedback synchronization of the proposed FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) cellular neural networks with boundary control is provided. However, there is no example for the illustrations of the given results.
