The paper is devoted to the problem of existence of minimal homeomorphism of on well-behaved spaces such as the compact connected metric spaces with any prescribed finitely generated \(K\)-theory or cohomology, or finite CW-complexes. A homeomorphism \(\varphi\) on a compact connected metric space \(X\) (with prescribed finitely generated generalized cohomologies) is minimal if there is no non-trivial invariant closed subspace \(F, \varphi(F) = F\). There are many obstructions to the existence of a minimal homeomorphism on well-behaved spaces. The main existence result is stated that there are such finite CW-complex or smooth manifold with free \(\mathbf S^1\)-action spaces when the generalized cohomology groups are finitely generated (Theorems 3.2, 3.1 and 4.1).
