A combined multistart-annealing algorithm for continuous global optimization
From MaRDI portal
The author discusses the application of simulated annealing to the problem of minimizing a continuous function. The proposed algorithm resembles the behavior of the multistart approach for global optimization, and the searches are stopped according to an annealing schedule. No numerical results are reported.
