A generalized modified HSS method for singular complex symmetric linear systems

The authors propose a generalized modified Hermitian and skew-Hermitian splitting method, together with a preconditioning technique for the numerical solution of singular complex, but symmetric linear systems. They study the semi-convergence properties of the method and provide numerical experiments which confirm its efficiency.
