A remark about orthogonal polynomials
From MaRDI portal
Given all moments of a measure on the real line, one can easily find a system of polynomials which are orthonormal with respect to this measure. The present author considers the converse problem and proposes a method for the reconstruction of a measure by means of a system of polynomials which are orthonormal to it. No detailed proofs are given.
