Abstract Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation with nonlocal condition

From MaRDI portal

The author considers the Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation: \[ u(t)+\frac{k}{t}u'=Au(t),\quad t\in(0,1],\tag{1} \] where \(A\) is a closed operator in the Banach space \(E\) with the domain \(D(A)\) which is dense in \(E\) and \(k>0\). The author seeks the solution \(u(t)\in C^2([0,1];E)\cap C([0,1]; D(A))\) satisfying \[ \lim_{t\to 1} I_{v,\beta}u(t)=u_1\tag{2} \] or \[ \lim_{t\to 1} I^\beta u(t)=u_2\tag{3} \] and: \[ u'(0)=0,\tag{4} \] where \(I_{v,\beta}\) is the Erdelyi-Kober operator and \(I^\beta\) is the Riemann-Liouville fractional integration operator. The author finds conditions for the unique solvability of the Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation with nonlocal conditions containing either the Erdelyi-Kober operator or the Riemann-Liouville fractional integration operator.
