Calogero model(s) and deformed oscillators

From MaRDI portal

Abstract: We briefly review some recent results concerning algebraical (oscillator) aspects of the N-body single-species and multispecies Calogero models in one dimension. We show how these models emerge from the matrix generalization of the harmonic oscillator Hamiltonian. We make some comments on the solvability of these models.

The authors give a review of single and multiple species versions of the Calogero model in one dimension. It is shown how exact solutions to the models may be obtained by applying techniques from quantum harmonic oscillator theory including the Heisenberg algebra and its (matrix) extensions.
