Character triples and weights
Central and block isomorphisms between character triples were first introduced by \textit{G. Navarro} and \textit{B. Späth} [J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS) 16, No. 4, 695--747 (2014; Zbl 1353.20006)]. Since then, the central and block isomorphisms between character triples have been extensively studied, they have also proved to be helpful in the verification of the inductive conditions. If \(P\) be \(p\)-subgroup of \(G\), a \(p\)-weight of \(G\) is a pair \((P, \gamma)\), where \(\gamma \in \mathrm{Irr}(N_G(P)/P)\) is such that \(\gamma(1)_p=|(N_G(P)/P)|_p\). If \((P, \gamma)\) is a \(p\)-weight and \(g \in G\), then \((P, \gamma)^g=(P^g, \gamma^g)\) is another \(p\)-weight. The Alperin weight conjecture states that the number of \(p\)-regular classes of \(G\) equals to the number of \(G\)-classes of \(p\)-weights. This conjecture was reduced to simple groups by Navarro, Tiep and Späth. In this article the authors focus on the Alperin weight conjecture and generalize the central and block isomorphisms between character triples and prove Clifford theory properties for weights in terms of character triples. Also since the ordinary characters of groups of Lie type are better understood by Deligne-Lusztig theory, the authors consider the ordinary character triples and the Clifford theory properties for weights. The results of this paper about Alperin weight conjecture are interesting and useful especially for groups of Lie type. Moreover, the results about new relations between character triples are interesting for readers.
