Cocycles of loop groups
From MaRDI portal
Let \(G\) be a compact semisimple Lie group and \(LG=\{\gamma: S^1\to G|_\gamma\) is smooth\} be its loop group. The author presents a geometric construction of a cocycle used in the reduction process of the energy representation of \(LG\). Then he presents two applications related to the obtaining of all components of the energy representation and the Murray construction of the central extension of loop groups.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0953.00049].
