Complex dynamics in adaptive systems
First and second order nonlinear discrete-time dynamical models are considered. The models with some unknown parameters exhibit chaotic behavior. The deadbeat control strategy is used. It seems to the reviewer that this hard approach to chaos control provides few new results with respect to general nonlinear control. The really new problems with chaos are either with cheap control as the OGY method (even this is based on well known polynomial assignment) but mainly the problem of chaos synthesis as pioneered by Chua. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0866.00065].
