Computing variational bounds for flow through random aggregates of spheres
From MaRDI portal
The purpose of this paper is to develop the numerical methods required to evaluate the formulas for random aggregates of spherical particles. The results for upper and lower bounds are disappointingly far from the experimental values at the larger packing fractions. Detailed calculations for such bounds remain a task for future research.
