Conditions for the solvability of singular boundary value problems
From MaRDI portal
The second-order differential equation \[ (r(x'))'+ f(t, x)= 0,\quad 0< t< 1 \] with Dirichlet or mixed boundary data is studied. The nonlinearity \(f\) may be singular at \(t= 0\), \(t=1\) and/or \(x=0\). Some very general and interesting existence results for the above problem are presented.
