Connected components of complex divisor functions

From MaRDI portal

Abstract: For any complex number c, define the divisor function sigmaccolonmathbbNomathbbC by displaystylesigmac(n)=sumdmidndc. Let overlinesigmac(mathbbN) denote the topological closure of the range of sigmac. Extending previous work of the current author and Sanna, we prove that overlinesigmac(mathbbN) has nonempty interior and has finitely many connected components if Re(c)leq0 and ceq0. We end with some open problems.
