Controllability and observability of expanded systems with overlapping decompositions
From MaRDI portal
A controllable, observable, linear time-invariant system composed of two overlapping subsystems is transformed into expanded forms using an existing technique. The controllability, observability and stability properties of the various forms are investigated, and some observations are made on their suitability in the design of overlapping state observers and state feedback controllers.
