Equations with a large parameter and nonclassical behavior of their solutions
The author studies the differential equation \[ \begin{aligned} y+&\mu^2\biggl[ 1+\frac{\cos^{\alpha-1}\mu x \sin^{\beta-1}\mu x((\alpha+2)\sin^2\mu x-\beta \cos^2 \mu x)}{(\mu x)^\gamma} \\ +& m\frac{\gamma \cos^\alpha\mu x\sin^\beta\mu x}{(\mu x)^{\gamma+1}} -\left( m\frac{\cos^\alpha\mu x \sin^\beta\mu x}{(\mu x)^\gamma} \right)^2 \biggr] y=0. \end{aligned} \] and presents sufficient conditions which ensure that the solution of the initial value problem satisfies classical estimates, or decreases faster than in the classical case or decreases exponentially.
