Examples of implementation
Using a finite element package DIANA, the authors present a dynamic analysis of a cylindrical concrete wall which protects an inner steel tank. The wall is loaded by a passing pressure wave created by a gas cloud explosion at some distance. The analysis is performed in five steps: linear static analysis; determination of eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes; determination of dynamic load factor; linear dynamic analysis by direct integration; nonlinear dynamic analysis by direct integration. Additionally, the authors report some results on the seimic response of a four-story building obtained by using the program SARCF (Seismic Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Frames). For the entire collection see [Zbl 0896.00034].
