Modelling of panel structures
From MaRDI portal
The authors review the basic concepts of dynamic wall behaviour and discuss some mathematical models used to simulate the wall response to monotonic and cyclic loads. Under consideration are reinforced concrete walls, including their stress-strain curves, failure due to cracks, and nonlinear interaction between structural components. The predictions made by using the finite element program DIANA are compared with experimental results. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0896.00034].
