Expansion of a function in a functional series.

Die Methode aus Fourier's Wärmetheorie in ihrer Anwendung auf die Entwickelung einer Function in eine allgemeine Functionalreihe unter der Form: \[ f(x)= A_1\varPhi(a_1x)+A_2 \varPhi(a_2x)+\cdots+A_n \varPhi(a_nx). \] Eine symbolische Methode wird angewandt, in der \(I\) so beschaffen ist, dass \(I^r\, \frac {f(0)} {\Phi(0)} = \frac {f^r(0)} {\varPhi^r(0)}\).
