Exponential-type approximation in multivariate harmonic Hilbert spaces
\textit{I. Babuška} [Apl. Mat. 13, 304-338 (1968; Zbl 0247.65010), ibid. 388-404 (1968; Zbl 0181.17704)] introduced the concept of periodic Hilbert spaces for studying universally optimal quadrature formulas and \textit{M. Práger} [Apl. Mat. 24, 406-420 (1979; Zbl 0449.41003)] continued these and discovered the relationship between optimal approximation of linear functionals on periodic Hilbert spaces and minimum norm interpolation (optimal periodic interpolation). In this paper the concept of harmonic Hilbert space in a multivariate setting is introduced as an extension of periodic Hilbert space. Approximation by Fourier partial integral and exponential-type interpolation in these spaces is studied. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0874.00037].
