The author gives two theorems for exponential sums and integrals over convex polytopes in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\), based on a simple geometric idea. [For the case of rational polytopes see \textit{M. Brion}, Ann. Sci. Ec. Norm. Super., IV. Ser. 21, No. 4, 653-663 (1988; Zbl 0667.52011)].
