Holomorphic modular bootstrap revisited

From MaRDI portal

The holomorphic modular bootstrap is the classification of rational conformal field theories via an analysis of the modular differential equations satisfied by their characters (see [\textit{S. Mukhi}, ``Classification of RCFT from holomorphic modular bootstrap: a status report, Preprint, \url{arXiv:1910.02973}]). This nice paper develops a new method which allows the classification to be done for allowed central charges \(c\) and weights \(h_i\), with any number of characters \(d\). This leads to a classification of consistent characters up to \(d=5\) whose modular differential equations are uniquely fixed in terms of \((c,h_i)\).
