Review text

The authors consider parameter-dependent autonomous systems which have a fixed saddle-point with a homoclinic path in the unperturbed state. Using Lie rotated vector fields, properties of the perturbed homoclinic path are determined including the appearance of limit cycles. Several examples are included.
