Image structures of harmonic maps into singular spaces
From MaRDI portal
In this article, the authors propose several characterisations of the image sets of harmonic maps defined from Riemannian manifolds to metric spaces. They are particularly interested in spaces of type \(\mathrm{CAT}(k) (k \in \mathbb{R})\), that is, metric spaces whose curvature is bounded above by a constant \(k\), in the sense of Toponogov's triangular comparison, considered here as target spaces \((N,d)\).\N\NThey then establish two convex hull properties satisfied by the image sets of these harmonic maps.
