Implicit consistent and continuum tangent operators in elastoplastic boundary element formulations
From MaRDI portal
This paper compares two alternative boundary element implementations. The so-called consistent and continuum tangent operator methods are discussed and tested for small-strain elastoplastic problems, including applications to fracture mechanics. A series of examples illustrates the comparisons.
