[For Part I, cf. Topology Appl. 156, No. 5, 862-871 (2009; Zbl 1169.22003).] We continue the notation and conventions of Part I. [Inexplicably, the present paper ``II'' precedes ``I'' in the printed issue of Topology and its Applications.] These are the authors' principal results: (1) \(\mathcal S(G)\) and \(\mathcal C(G)\) are never connected, and \(\mathcal N(G)\) is always totally disconnected. (2) \(\mathcal C(G)\) is totally disconnected iff \(G\) is totally disconnected. (3) \(\mathcal S(G)\) is totally disconnected iff \(G/Z(G)\) is totally disconnected. It is shown in addition that if \(G\) is totally disconnected, then the three spaces \(\mathcal S(G)\), \(\mathcal C(G)\) and \(\mathcal N(G)\) are \(\kappa\)-metrizable in the sense of \textit{E.~V.~Ščepin} [Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. Mat. 43, 442--478 (1979; Zbl 0409.54040); translation in Math. USSR, Izv. 14, 407--440 (1980; Zbl 0436.54024)]. Furthermore, each of those three spaces has these two properties: (a)~of any \(\alpha\)-many nonempty open subsets (\(\alpha\) uncountable), some \(\alpha\)-many have nonempty intersection; and (b)~the cardinal invariants \(\pi\)-character, character and weight coincide.
