Positive solutions of the generalized Emden-Fowler equation in Hölder spaces (Q1012165)

The authors considers the sublinear, \(q \in (0, 1)\), Emden-Fowler equation \[ u'' + p(t) u^q = 0, \quad 0 < t < 1, \] with solutions satisfying the two-point conjugate boundary conditions \(u(0) = u(1) = 0\). They give sufficient conditions for the existence, nonexistence and regularity of positive solutions in Hölder spaces.
