    For the usual convolution operators, the hypoellipticity was characterized by \textit{L.\,Ehrenpreis} [Am.\ J.\ Math.\ 82, 522--588 (1960; Zbl 0098.08401)] and \textit{L.\,Hörmander} [Math.\ Scand.\ 9, 178--184 (1961; Zbl 0102.11003)] in the case of \({\mathcal D}^\prime({\mathbb R}^d)\) and by \textit{Z.\,Zielezny} [Stud.\ Math.\ 28, 317--332 (1967; Zbl 0181.42201)] in the case \({\mathcal S}^\prime({\mathbb R}^d)\). More recently, several authors obtained analogous results for other convolutions; see, for instance, \textit{M.\,Belhadj} and \textit{J.\,J.\thinspace Betancor} [Arch.\ Math.\ 79, No.\,3, 188--196 (2002; Zbl 1019.46028)] for the Hankel convolution equations or \textit{K.\,Trimèche} [J.~Fourier Anal.\ Appl.\ 12, No.\,5, 517--542 (2006; Zbl 1105.42004)] for the Dunkl convolution on \({\mathbb R}^d\). Following this line of research, the present paper studies the hypoellipticity of Dunkl-convolution operators in \({\mathcal S}^\prime({\mathbb R})\).
