Polynomial interpolation on spheres is studied in this paper. The data sites can be placed arbitrarily on the sphere and from this setting, stability results about the interpolation process are derived. The interpolation takes place using spherical polynomials and the stability theorem is espressed by way of estimating the eigenvalues of the matrix of the interpolation from above. Some numerical results to illustrate the results are provided.
