The authors study the a posteriori error analysis for the Morley element of the Kirchhoff plate problem. In this respect they use some previous results on Helmholtz decomposition and the conservative property of the Morley element. Their results refine some previous ones, by dropping two edge jumps terms in both the energy norm of the error and the estimator.
