On a parabolic problem with nonlinear term in a half space and global behavior of solutions (Q1018369)

The authors study the existence and global estimates for positive continuous solutions of the problem \[ \begin{cases} \Delta u-u\varphi(\cdot,u)- \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}= 0 &\text{in }\mathbb R^n_+ \times (0, \infty)\;(n\geq 2),\\ u=0 &\text{on }\partial \mathbb R^n_+ \times (0,\infty),\\ u(x,0)= u_0(x), &x\in \mathbb R^n_+, \end{cases} \] where the nonlinear term \(\varphi\) satisfies a condition expressed in terms of the parabolic Kato class \(P^\infty(\mathbb R^n_+)\) [\textit{Q.
