Local Łojasiewicz exponents, Milnor numbers and mixed multiplicities of ideals (Q1024206)

The author computes the Lojasiewicz exponent and the multiplicity of a germ of a finite analytic map, whose components are contained in given monomial ideals, and satisfy a certain condition of general position with respect to these ideals. The work is based on the results of the author's paper [Math. Res. Lett. 15, No.~2--3, 389--407 (2008; Zbl 1149.13011)] and includes the results of [\textit{O. M. Abderrahmane}, Kodai Math. J. 28, No.~1, 106--110 (2005; Zbl 1082.14006)] as a special case. Certain corollaries, related to the Kouchnirenko theorem [\textit{A. G. Kushnirenko}, Invent. Math. 32, 1--31 (1976; Zbl 0328.32007)], include necessity of the Newton non-degeneracy condition and a simple proof of monotonicity of the Newton number.
