    The authors consider the impulsive boundary value problem \[ -(w(r)|u'|^{p(r) - 2}u')' + f(r,u,(w(r))^\frac{1}{p(r) - 1}u') = 0,\quad r \in (0,T)\setminus\{r_1,\dots,r_k\}, \] \[ u(r_i+) - u(r_i-) = A_i\left(u(r_i-), \lim_{r\to r_i-} (w(r))^\frac{1}{p(r) - 1}u'(r)\right), \quad i = 1,\dots,k, \] \[ \begin{multlined} \lim_{r\to r_i+} w(r)|u'|^{p(r) - 2} u'(r) - \lim_{r\to r_i-} w(r)|u'|^{p(r) - 2} u'(r) \\ = B_i\left(\lim_{r \to r_i-} u(r), \lim_{r\to r_i-} (w(r))^\frac{1}{p(r) - 1}u'(r)\right), \quad i = 1,\dots,k,\end{multlined} \] \[ u(0) = u(T), \quad \lim_{r \to 0+} w(r)|u'|^{p(r) - 2} u'(r) = \lim_{r\to T-} w(r)|u'|^{p(r) - 2} u'(r), \] where \(0 < r_1 < \dots < r_k < T\) are impulse points, \(p \in C([0,T];{\mathbb R})\), \(p > 1\), \(A_i,B_i \in C({\mathbb R}^N \times {\mathbb R}^N;{\mathbb R}^N)\). Sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one solution are given. The existence result is obtained by using the coincidence degree theory.
