    The authors consider impulsive periodic boundary value problems in the form \[ \begin{aligned} &u'(t) + b(t)u(t) = f(t, u(t)) \quad \text{a.e.}\;t \in J,\;t \neq t_k, \;k = 1,\dots,p,\\ &\triangle u|_{t=t_k} = I_k(u(t_k)), \text{ for } k = 1,\dots,p,\\ &u(0) = u(T),\end{aligned} \] where \(b\in L^1(J)\), \(I_k \in C(\mathbb{R}^n,\mathbb{R}^n)\), \(f : J\times \mathbb{R}^n \to \mathbb{R}^n\) is an \(L^1\)-Carathéodory function. Sufficient conditions for the existence at least one solution to the problem are obtained. The proofs are based on Schaeffer's theorem.
