From ODE to DDE (Q1034890)

The delay differential equation \[ x'(t)=f(t,x(t),x(t-\tau)) \tag{1} \] is considered, where \(f:\mathbb{R}\times \mathbb{R}^n\to \mathbb{R}^n\) and \(\tau>0\). For this equation there are given both local and global existence theorems for periodical solutions.
