    It is somewhat strange that this paper on stochastic geometry is published in a journal on fuzzy sets (there is only a very artificial connection to fuzzy set-valued processes at the beginning of section 2). Using standard literature on morphology and stochastic geometry (e.g., J. Serra; I. S. Molchanov; H. T. Nguyen) the authors model a crystallisation process by a set-valued birth-and-growth process. Using a decomposition via Minkowski sums, they present consistent estimators of the rate of growth and of the nucleation hitting function.
